A well structured elegant wine when released. Made using traditional methods by Jane Wilson using open tank fermentation with continuous hand plunging to extract maximum colour and flavour in old American oak for 10 months. Aromatics of clean cassis and berry fruit and subtle oak. The plate is complex spicy tobacco leaf overtones to a core of sweet berry fruit dominant that finished with round soft tannins. 13.5% alc.
