A wet Jan and then perfect ripening conditions in Feb followed by extreme temps in late Feb early March with mid March vintage provided perfect fruit intensity that translates into this wine, it will need to breath to release the beauty within! Hand picked fruit specially chosen to reflect optimum flavour and balance with acidity. Both French and American oak maturation for 18mths then a blend of equal Cabernet and Shiraz. Attractive complex aromas of berry and chocolate supported by subtle oak. The palate has plenty of weight and concentration of savoury berry that is smooth with moderately intense well balanced oak finishing with soft tannins. Alc12.4%.
