We are a small family producer and have been vignerons since 1969 when Rick & Jenny Turner first fell in love with Mudgee and hand-planted our first vines. Ever since then we have been guided by a few simple principles:

Guiding nature in the vineyard with minimal intervention    
Tending the vines to deliver low yields                
Giving our winemakers the very best                

The result – pristine intensely flavoured fruit producing wonderful vibrant wines
With such passion shining through it is little wonder that in its short life Frog Rock Wines has received numerous accolades both nationally and internationally as an “innovative brand of quality and individuality”.

Our very first release the 1998 Old-Vine-Shiraz took the UK & USA critics by storm being voted one of the ”Best Shiraz in the World” and we have not looked back. Our Chardonnay and Cabernet have also performed well and recent additions – Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris sell out rapidly at cellar-door.

Yet what has always been most important to us is the enjoyment you get from our wines and the enthusiastic feed back you give us. These handcrafted gems are made in small quantities and are only available at cellar-door or on-line.
